It is a start

Everyday passes really quickly and also slowly during this pandemic. I figured that if I let my thoughts go, one day at a time, I’ll miss a lot of stuff that I think God grants me to enjoy reflecting on. If I wait till everything is in place, I’ll just keep losing thoughts and gems like water through my fingers.

Why write?

I need to. I find myself truly more real and courageous when I process my thoughts in writing. Whether these thoughts get anywhere, I cannot tell. But if they do, yay.

Everyday Gems?

This is was the title of the blog I and a few youth leaders created over 10 years ago. Its purpose was to allow us all to share our everyday gems...believing that God does reveal Himself in the everyday things. We were also inclined to find our voice in writing. But, we didn’t go very far. While thinking about a new blog name, I chanced upon that old one and thought...why not?

Cookie Pastor?

Well, it’s a fun one. LOL. God only knows I need some humour and fun in my inclination to take everything seriously. It comes from Jasmine’s housemates, who refer to me as the ‘peanut cookie pastor’ because they really liked my peanut cookies. I think it says a bit about me...I like to bake, I am a pastor, I am kinda nuts! Heh. It was also available. Am practical that way.
